MOST COMMON CONDITIONS WE TREAT:
HEEL AND ARCH PAIN
This condition is most often caused by plantar fasciitis commonly misdiagnosed as a heel spur. Faulty foot structure and poor footwear is the most common cause of heel pain. SOLE THERAPY can cure heel pain within 6 weeks with our treatments modalities.
BUNIONS & CLAWED TOES
Bunions are one of the most common foot disorders that affect people. We can prevent bunions developing with early screening. However, if you have bunions SOLE THERAPY can prevent surgery with mobilisation therapy and orthotics.
ACHILLES TENDON DISORDERS
Achilles tendonitis is an inflammation of the Achilles tendon that runs down the back of the leg and inserts into the heel bone. SOLE THERAPY reatment involves a series of modalities like soft-tissue therapy, mobilisation, dry needling and our customised orthotics.
A neuroma causes sharp, burning pain in the ball of your foot- accompanied by stinging or numbness in your toes. By redistributing forefoot pressure, we can prevent surgery of this condition with SOLE THERAPY orthotics, dry needling and mobilisation.
Unresolved tiptoe walking after the age of 3 years old, needs to be examined and assessed by a SOLE THERAPY qualified podiatrist. Early intervention can prevent problems. Tiptoe walking can cause the Achilles tendons and calf muscles to shorten and affect gait and walking patterns later on in life.
IN TOE or OUT TOE WALKING
In-toeing means when a child or adult walks or runs with their feet turn inward. Out-toeing mean that the feet curve excessively outwards. This should be seen by a SOLE THERAPY podiatrist to prevent this position affecting hip and knee alignment.
HIGH ARCH or FLAT FEET
High arch or flat feet can manifest problems with children or affect our feet, knee and backs later on in life. Having a foot assessment by our SOLE THERAPY podiatrists is essential. We can give you the right information for your foot type. Our customised orthotics and foot strengthening exercises play an important part in this.
ANKLES & SPORTS INJURIES
The feet and ankles take a pounding and are commonly injured through overuse. At SOLE THERAPY we treat all lower limb injuries in children and adults. We want to get you back on your feet and living a healthy life as soon as possible.
